Celeste was born and raised in a small town between Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin, Texas. Wanting to see more than her small Texas town, she joined the Marines, which satisfied her craving to see more of the U.S. and her drive to see if she could become one of the few and the proud.
A firm believer in educating the mind, while working fulltime and raising kids, she graduated with several degrees, the latest being a Master’s of Science. Three Divisions: Leo by Celeste Prater is the story of two people who need a little saving, even though both of them don’t know it yet. Jillian Dosh is an attorney who hasn’t had a relationship for quite some time. She just hasn’t met someone who rings her bells and makes her feel butterflies in her stomach… well she has, sort of. There is someone at her gym that does it for her. Imagine her surprise when she finds him at the Three Divisions Lifestyle Emporium. He fascinates her, but there is something about him that scares her as well. Leo is not one to trifle with newbies. Nevertheless, there is something about Jillian that calls to him. He is a Dom and he needs a Submissive, but Jillian is a little too innocent. Can she give his lifestyle a chance? Can she find a way to give him a chance?
I will be honest here, I am not a big fan of BDSM, and there is something about it that makes me cringe every time I hear this word. Many perfectly great dominant male leads have been destroyed by the Dominant moniker. It was refreshing to read about a Dom/Sub relationship that was not abusive. I still have some issues with portraying the female character as a woman who does not know she is a sub deep down, but there is just something about Leo and how he indulged her and did not do anything she never wanted to that makes this novel a special exception for me. A good read overall.
