These Wicked Deeds: The Wicked Series Book 1 by Sophia Luxe is steaming hot with a solid story. It follows Wes and Isabella as they journey through uncharted territory and find love amidst the chaos. Wes, Damien, and Nikolai weren’t saints, but they weren’t absolute demons. They worked with some powerful men and did their dirty deeds, which made them rich. However, losing Sofia was one thing that almost broke them. Wes was unsure how they would survive until the vivacious Isabella Castillo strutted into their lives. However, Isabella came with a surprise and a mystery that Wes was desperate to unravel. What he wasn’t expecting was to fall for her, but he did, and she felt the same way. Isabella and Wes knew their relationship might not last too long, but what if it did? Then they would have to clear out the lies, mystery, and suspense before they could be together.
These Wicked Deeds is the perfect pick-me-up. The story has the perfect balance of romance, mystery, action, and sizzle to make it mind-blowing. I’m a self-proclaimed romance fan and read at least two romance novels weekly. My standards are high, and Sophia Luxe raised the bar even higher. I was sold with just one look at that cover and was in love by the time Isabella appeared. Manny was a hoot, Damien was a mystery, and Nikolai’s heart was aching. At times, it felt as if Wes was the only sensible and awake member of the team. The mystery behind Isabella and the shock factor she added to the story was just incredible. The pace was fast without being overwhelming, the narrative was engaging, and the feel of the story was fantastic. I cannot wait to discover what happens next. I hope to see more of Damien and a happier Nikolai, but more than that, I want to find out what happens next with Wes and Isabella.
