In today’s fast-moving world of business, change has become more of a constant than ever before. With disruptive innovation, we have seen companies such as Kodak, Sears, and Borders lose because they refuse to change. Change management, especially organizational transformation, requires careful planning and implementation, and Talila Millman has presented an excellent framework in her recent book, The TRIUMPH Framework: 7 Steps to Leading Organizational Transformation. The book provides excellent examples of companies who have followed her framework including some companies she has been involved in consulting. Practical lessons from these companies are valuable for any businessperson looking to move their business to the next level. The book begins with the warning that business and innovation are changing and continuing to do the same thing every year may lead to business failure. Successful planning using the steps in The TRIUMPH Framework can lead to a better outcome.

This is an excellent and well-written book on organizational transformation and change management. This book truly has valuable wisdom for any business needing to develop a change management framework. TRIUMPH is an acronym that presents the 7 steps to success. Each step is well documented with examples of multiple companies in various industries and the lessons inherent in each step toward organizational transformation. The author offers many interesting stories and those in business will find the ideas excellent, especially if they are engaged in making changes in their organizations.
