Though Aidan and his companions have attained victory over Sirak and the Dyn’osi in Delmar, they still have a long way to go in bringing peace to the world. In Book Two of The Roar of a Dragon Series, Aidan and his group must continue the fight against evil and do all they can to stop those who plan to enslave all the free beings of the world and transform them into the Ther-lor. As the group consisting of dishonored knights, a dragon, and a thief continue on their mission, they seek to add to their numbers to improve their chances of winning. However, one of them is kidnapped by a different enemy from Aidan's past, making their already complex mission even more difficult. The Treachery of a Weasel by Robert Blanchard takes readers on a deadly, fast-paced, action-loaded quest to save the world.
The Roar of a Dragon Series has some new fun characters, and two of them are the mischievous brownies—which are probably the cutest characters I've come across in a book. The way Robert Blanchard combines empathy, love, forgiveness, villainy, friendship, and politics with a thrilling, hair-raising plot had me panting for more. Everything comes together neatly to give readers a comprehensive and deep experience, where there are no dull moments and there's a surprise waiting to be revealed at every stage. Fantasy lovers would be more than satisfied: the themes of magic and the supernatural are very strong and new characters and abilities are added to the story as it develops. I had a wonderful time reading The Treachery of a Weasel; in fact, it made my week!
