The Story of Earl Nightingale and His Strangest Secret is a work of non-fiction in the biography and memoir subgenres. The work focuses on the life story of the titular character Earl Nightingale and was composed largely by his daughter, Pamela Nightingale, with additional authorship from Victor Corbin and Angela Moon. In its audiobook format, it is presented by various artists, including Joe Price, Arielle Loftis, Benjamin Gray, and Earl Nightingale himself. From incredible successes in the world of radio to tales of survival during war, mafia crime, and his rise to fame with The Strangest Secret, it’s time to be introduced to the man behind one of the most fascinating life principles that people follow today: the law of attraction.

In terms of its narrative quality, memoir fans will surely be fascinated by the extraordinary life that led Earl Nightingale to develop the principles and ideas contained in The Strangest Secret, and because of the way Pamela Nightingale expertly weaves the tapestry of his life, we can see the pieces falling into place that led him to such powerful revelations. Along with the assistance of authors Victor Corbin and Angela Moon, The Story of Earl Nightingale and His Strangest Secret becomes a rich and well-penned account of a life lived for the now and an incredible success story with many dramatic ups and downs.

In terms of its audiobook quality, narrators Joe Price, Arielle Loftis, and Benjamin Gray combine well with Earl’s own words to blend in and out and deliver a rich tale that feels like a spoken word documentary. The editing quality is crisp and clear, further enhancing the immersive listening experience. I would recommend The Story of Earl Nightingale and His Strangest Secret to anyone with an interest in varied and fascinating memoirs and, of course, those who admire the man himself.
