A Beth-Hill Novel: Jacob Lane Series Book 5: The Sixth Stone is creative and beautifully written novel by Jennifer St.Clair. Arlen Parker had broken off from the main hunt by himself on horseback and had a run-in with a hound in the forest. But this was no ordinary hound, for this one could talk and was a massive beast. Arlen ends up at Darkbrook Castle where he finds out a secret about his uncle and his involvement with the hounds. He is sent out to the Healer on behalf of the hounds to negotiate a surrender for them. With the Healer, they would soon set out for a grand adventure through a portal to find the other Healers to break the binding placed upon Darkbrook but would be hunted by others on their journey. They travel through the Werewolf Territory and meet allies and enemies on their way. Some would perish and some would thrive as they encounter elves, wizards, spells, Illusions, portals, magic, a secret treasure, and a rare stone.
Jennifer St.Clair has amazed her readers once again through her creativity and superior imagination. This is a wonderful suspense and magic-filled novel geared toward teenage and adult readers. Anyone who enjoys a great mystery filled with components of magic and mystical creatures will surely love this novel. This is uniquely written and resembles no other book I’ve read before. Every chapter is packed with adventure, twists and turns that will have you at the edge of your seat. I found myself so compelled with this novel that I could not put it down and was wondering what would come next. The book was easy to read and the plot flowed along quickly. I can easily see this book put into television series or movies and it truly is one of a kind. After reading this novel, I am eager to read all of Jennifer St.Clair's other novels and series books!
