The Sasquatch Family Beach Trip is a children's adventure written by David Goff and illustrated by Thooyaa Crump. The story is about a family of Sasquatches who live in a forest, each one with unique characteristics that make them special. One day, they decide to visit the beach to experience something new and magnificent. The family packs their bags with various things they think they'll need when they reach the coast. Upon their arrival, they are amazed by the beauty of the beach and enjoy their time there. Suddenly, they see a man-like creature covered in seaweed and shells emerge from the ocean. The creature hands them a note that says "Dig" and then disappears back into the sea. Although puzzled, the family follows the instructions on the note and discovers a place even more splendid than the beach itself.
The Sasquatch Family Beach Trip is a delightful and enchanting story that encourages children to embrace their individuality and enjoy new experiences. David Goff introduces us to the members of the Sasquatch family, who learn to enjoy adventure and stay true to themselves. I particularly liked the humor the author injected into the story, which made it both entertaining and amusing. The overpacking of unnecessary items by the family displayed their innocence and naivety. The book features bright and colorful illustrations that bring the story to life. Children will be captivated by the vibrant artwork and will be able to distinguish the family members by their different fur colors. They will be transported to a magical world full of wonder and fantastic creatures. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and recommend that parents read it with their children to share the fun.
