The Revolting Brains: 7 Read-aloud Bedtime Tales by Neil Roy McFarlane is a wonderful collection of seven tales that will take young readers on a fun and adventurous trip. The short stories - Pathetic Sick Sniffy Pants, The Mango Mouse, The Sledgehammer and the Lollipop, Topsy Turvy Land, The Way of the Pizza, The Case of the Missing Woods, and The Revolting Brains - take readers on a joy ride as they experience myriad emotions and get to know different characters. The stories are short and are just the right length to hold the attention of children. So what are we waiting for? Let's get started and experience the magic, fun, and adventures of these stories.
Short stories are always fun to read and children will love this collection. Each story has its own charm and interesting characters that will fascinate youngsters and hold their attention. There is an element of whimsy that runs through all the stories, making them very appealing and captivating for readers. All the stories are good but my personal favorite is The Mango Mouse, who will bring mangoes home if the magic mango song is sung. Bedtime story-telling cannot get better than this and parents and grandparents will enjoy reading stories to their children and grandchildren while putting them to sleep. It is a good book for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries as it introduces children to many new things and will make them imagine, dream, and become creative. So which one is your favorite story?
