If you enjoy self-help books with a personal note, then The Resilience Reflex: 8 Keys to Transforming Barriers into Success in Life and Business by Zaheen Nanji might be just the next one you should put on your to-read list. In this book you will learn about the journey Zaheen went through herself, and how she turned her life around. The insights she took from her challenges and from other people's actions and words are the essence and soul of this book. If you have problems in your life - you feel burned out, think your problems are impossible to solve, you are not happy, or are not taking care of yourself enough - then this would be a good book to pick up.
While The Resilience Reflex: 8 Keys to Transforming Barriers into Success in Life and Business by Zaheen Nanji read a lot more like an autobiography in the first parts, I did enjoy reading it a lot. Even though it was not quite what I expected it to be (i.e. a more impersonal self-help book) or maybe because it wasn't what I expected it to be, I found myself turning page after page. It was very interesting to learn about Zaheen's journey and the challenges she had to overcome. Learning about her life makes it more believable that the points she makes in the self-help sections truly work; after all, the author is a living example of how you can turn your life around. I would definitely recommend this book for people who not only want advice, but who also want to see an example of how that advice can make a real difference in a person's life.
