Gregory Green and five other students are in Miss Wells' class, trying to discover what is missing from the classroom. No fish is missing from the aquarium, no lights from the ceiling are missing, and the spider web is still there in the corner. Gregory sees that the alphabet is missing and Miss Wells agrees. She makes each table a group and asks them to go on a treasure hunt to find the missing letters of the alphabet and bring them back. Every group has a captain, one person is made to hold an envelope for the letters they find, and one person is supposed to write down the letters. Everyone is excited. They are all on a mission but one letter is missing. Which letter of the alphabet is missing and will they be able to find it?
The Missing Alphabet (A Gregory Green Adventure Book 4) by Elaine Kaye is an educational and interactive book and is a good combination of fun, adventure, thinking, and working together. It is interesting to see the kids go all around the school in search of the missing letters. The illustrations are as delightful as the treasure hunt and bring the concept to life for young readers. The book makes learning fun and interactive and pulls in youngsters to participate with Gregory and his classmates in the hunt for the missing letters. Tutors can use this in classrooms and have a meaningful and entertaining session with students. Parents can get their children to list the items in their house that start with each letter of the alphabet.
