The Millionaire Daddy Project: Men of the Zodiac by Roxanne Snopek is yummy in all of the right ways when it comes to a strong female lead, a delicious male, and the perfect happily ever after. The usual sweet and caring secretary who works for a handsome boss is livened up a bit by the arrival of her handsome boss's young daughter whom he had no idea existed until now. It is his job to learn to care for his little girl, now that her mother has passed away, but he is woefully inept when it comes to relating to children. His skills, he thinks, are much better served running his business. Enter the reliable, hard-working secretary and a sudden awareness of all of her charms, and you have a fun recipe for some sizzling romance.
The characters were wonderfully developed, the plot was perfectly paced, and the conflicts within the story were the kind we can all relate to when a young child is thrown into the mix of a brand new relationship. Each character had a strong voice and characteristics unique to their personalities. The characters are forced to move outside their comfort zones and overcome aspects of their lives and their own human frailties in order to eventually end up with what they want. Taking risks and giving love a chance seems to be the most difficult task of all. I guess you'll have to read the book to find out what kind of risks the characters are willing to take. I truly enjoyed this touching contemporary romance. If you're looking for a love story that satisfies the hopeless romantic in all of us, this is most definitely a contemporary romance you should add to your shelf.
