Robert Crewe is an advocate for education and creating positive change in the youth of today. As a product of the South Bronx, He was determined not to be a statistic. He graduated Cum Laude from NYIT in 2009 with a Bachelor's in Graphic Design and a dream.
Making the world a better place is a mission that God placed in Robert's heart. In Robert's eyes, the change starts with our children. Robert started writing children's books as a way to mold children's mind in a positive way. Using books as a platform teach great morals has become a passion for Robert Crewe.
Robert Crewe's journey started with his children's book series, "Scrappy -N- Rail," which has led to his rhyming series, "Lil Scrappy -N- Rail." These two series star two squirrels who are best friends. Scrappy is the curious headstrong squirrel and Rail is the voice of reason for Scrappy.
Although the two series are doing their jobs to teach our children, Robert does not only want children to learn what is right and wrong, he also wants to help children get closer to God. Thus, The Hip Hop Praise Circle was created.
Robert is building a community of thoughtful citizens and faithful servants of God. Through the Hip Hop Praise Circle movement, kids will learn how to navigate their Christian walk.

Robert E.O. Crewe has written a winner with The Hip Hop Praise Circle (Volume 1): Thank You God. At just 54 pages, it seems like it packs in a whole lot more praise than that. Focused on children, this is a picture book depicting six kids who, despite their struggles, praise God every day. Unique to this book is the theme of it being a club and having a theme song, “Thank You God.” This gives the book two dimensions whereby it can be used for younger kids for the singing part and middle readers for the reading part plus the singing. The age range for this book is 5-10. Offered in the back of the book is a seek-and-find activity to do, a place where kids can journal, a list where young readers can list things they’re grateful for, a crossword puzzle, and a coloring opportunity. This makes the book very dynamic and interactive.
I completely loved reading The Hip Hop Praise Circle (Volume 1): Thank You God by Robert E.O. Crewe. It was unique, fun, and engaging for young readers. Any time kids get a chance to sing, they’re more likely to engage and the praise song provided in this book will help them develop their appreciation for and relationship with God. The Hip Hop Praise Circle is a unique opportunity for young children to get their praise on.
