Reinvigorate your mind and spirit with this enlightening haiku collection by Seiji Komatsu. The Hidden Passage is a collection of 121 haikus that touch upon various aspects of life, nature, and spirituality, offering readers a transcendental experience rooted in ancient Tao and Buddhist philosophies. Komatsu believes he was a Tibetan Buddhist monk in one of his past lives. After being forced into a fight, the violent episode awoke Komatsu's dormant abilities of mediumship through his kundalini. In this book, the author shares his observations and wisdom inspired by Taoist teachings, giving readers a spiritual experience that transcends the boundaries of organized religion. With these haikus, Komatsu aims to help readers find their connection with nature and their own spirituality, thereby deepening their understanding of the self and the preciousness of their lives.
The Hidden Passage is a riveting poetry collection for anyone who seeks to transform their lives for the better, whether they have previously read haikus or not. Seiji Komatsu draws inspiration from various ancient Eastern practices and schools of thought, primarily Chinese Taoism, as well as Oriental mysticism, to present an enthralling collection of poems, each of which gives you something different to contemplate. This collection is the literary equivalent of a soothing balm for your soul. In his introduction, Komatsu reveals his penchant for meditation and encourages readers to practice mindfulness. After reading these haikus, you will take a moment to reflect and reevaluate the deeper meaning of Komatsu's words. They will also make you want to introspect. Overall, I found this collection very inspirational, and I will definitely reread some of these haikus. A gem of a book for poetry lovers.
