The Haunted Production: Page Terrors is a children's paranormal adventure by Wes Mogenson. With her mom and stepdad on their way to their honeymoon, Brandi, an eighth-grader, is left to spend the summer with her dad in the small town of Campsville. Soon after her arrival, Brandi learns that her dad has bought the town's old movie theater and is trying to renovate it. A visit to the theater makes her realize the place has some secrets it doesn't want to reveal just yet. Brandi makes a new friend named Summer, who tells her the theater is haunted. When the two youngsters visit the theater, extraordinary events occur in the place, and an entity tells them they cannot leave. Will Brandi and Summer find a way out? Or will they be trapped forever?
Steeped in mystery, suspense, and intrigue, The Haunted Production: Page Terrors is an absorbing adventure for kids and young adults alike. Author Wes Mogenson offers an enrapturing combination of horror, adventure, and action to deliver a paranormal tale that provides chills and thrills galore. The narrative is a breeze to go through due to the fast-paced plot, which has a couple of unexpected twists and turns up its sleeve. Readers will have no trouble finishing this book in one sitting. In this plot and scene-driven narrative, the characters move the story forward. Mogenson really excels in building a suspenseful and tension-filled atmosphere during scenes where you're left wondering what's going to happen next. Overall, I enjoyed the book very much. Teenagers who love paranormal adventure tales -- do not miss out on this one!
