Nathan Bitterroot was in Vegas. He walked into a casino with a crystal in his pocket and walked out with 3.4 million dollars. It was impossible yet it happened. It was an experiment. It was successful.
Nathan’s nephew Scott found a crystal with the secret to time travel.
When Nathan was around 8 or 9 years old his father was killed. Nathan believed the mod from Vegas was involved. The crystal gives Nathan the opportunity to go back in time and stop the murder. He creates a change in history that alters the course of his life and puts others in danger. Others see the opportunity to use the crystal for their own advantage.
I enjoyed this book once I got into it. However it did not flow smoothly and at times it seemed confusing. The plot is a little slow at first but quickly builds into a thriller . Fans of thrillers, time travel and science fiction will enjoy The Gentle Assassin.
