The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI is a work of non-fiction in the business and technology sub-genres and was penned by author team Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic. Subtitled “Preparing Your Leadership Skills for the AI-Shaped Future of Work”, this informative and concise guidebook aims to prepare its readers for the greater implementation of Artificial Intelligence technologies into elements of business and economics such as data, processing, and rule-following. This leaves a precious gap for leaders who are both creative and socially aware and can utilize their distinctly human skills to motivate others and succeed in those areas where machines cannot replace them.

Author team Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic present a really interesting work on the future implementations and business predictions of AI, and thankfully it is one which neither glorifies them nor predicts a total apocalypse. Rather, this is a practical and informative guide to what Artificial Intelligence already does for the finance, business and economics worlds, and what it will continue to develop into as technology improves. The narrative tone is professional and clear, delivering straight facts with as little technical jargon and overcomplication as possible. There is a wonderful sense of celebration for the social and creative talents of human beings too, which gives the piece a highly motivational quality overall and shows hope for the future rather than stagnation or replacement. Overall, I would certainly recommend The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI to anyone working in business who needs a better understanding of emerging technology.

Author duo Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic are well placed in the industry to appreciate the implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for businesses. Marin Ivezic is a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he has been involved in solving some of the toughest technology problems—including ones that use AI. Luka Izevic, on the other hand, is an independent consultant and author exploring the implications of technologies like IoT, AI, and 5G. To better conduct his work, he has lived in several countries spanning different continents. Their expertise and knowledge about AI are on display in The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI: Preparing Your Leadership Skills for the AI-Shaped Future of Work.

The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI delivers practical advice to today’s leaders on how to move into uncharted territory in the age of AI. The author team of Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic emphasizes that AI, due to its transformative nature, can be used to generate both revenues and jobs, instead of simply being used as a cost-cutting measure that results in minimal profits. However, this requires proper planning and commitment on the part of the leaders of an organization. The authors take examples from history to explain that as the previous industrial revolutions disrupted the prevailing flow of work by mechanizing manufacturing, resulting in rural to urban migration and momentary job losses, AI likewise will bring disruption in the current work scenario. It is not only going to displace blue-collar workers but also white-collar workers far higher up the ladder. This book shows a way to minimize the pain that AI will unleash and reap its benefits.

I could easily relate to the book due to its use of little technical jargon and lucid explanations. The authors substantiate their viewpoints with credible real-life examples and cite high-quality research papers. The book debunks the myths related to AI and presents a practical description of how AI is going to impact businesses and employees. They also explain the roles of diversion and inclusivity for the effective use of AI. The book clearly explains why AI cannot surpass humans, despite all its capabilities. Emotional Intelligence will be the need of the hour is the greatest message conveyed by this book. Overall, I would recommend The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI to anyone who wants to learn how to remain relevant in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI: Preparing Your Leadership Skills for the AI-Shaped Future of Work is written by Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic. Everybody has heard of Artificial Intelligence and most of us know that it is no longer a myth; rather, it is a reality and it is here to stay. The biggest concerns lie in businesses and leadership, given that AI is likely to bring about huge changes in the workforce. Marin and Luka Ivezic explore how the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as it is known, will work, what it all means to businesses and how to develop new skills and adapt to new ways of working. They will bust the myths that surround AI and they discuss how robots and humans will work together and why the human race will never be taken over entirely by a robotic workforce. Read, learn and understand how to make the transition easier.

The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI: Preparing Your Leadership Skills for the AI-Shaped Future of Work by Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic is a fascinating insight into an inevitable future, one that we cannot ignore and must learn to embrace wholeheartedly. The only businesses that will thrive in the new world are those who can adapt to change and adapt their leadership skills to support a changing workforce. This is a really well-written book and is clearly brilliantly researched. It is easy to read and understand and provides the positive side of AI as well as discussing potential negativity that AI could bring about. The book lays out what we can expect and how to ensure the inevitable transition is as easy as possible when the time comes. I found it a bit repetitive at times but it is a good book for those who are facing an uncertain future in a business likely to be impacted by AI and for anyone who has an interest in the way AI and robotics will affect us in the future.

The Future Of Leadership In The Age Of AI: Preparing Your Leadership Skills For The AI-Shaped Future Of Work by Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic is an engaging book that will help readers understand what AI can do and how it can fit into their strategies. Artificial Intelligence is going to play an important role in the future of organizations and the business environments they operate in but whatever analysis available on the topic points to AI not having an impact more than any past technology has had. The book speaks about how AI is going to affect the future and real problems. While many downplay AI as just another technology added to the business ambiance, there are dramatic visions too about AI. The book discusses both and shows readers the problems associated with both.

AI is already here and it has come in simple forms and has been integrated in a way that is often invisible. The book is a good way to understand the topic as it discusses both sides of AI without being biased. Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic discuss the extent of AI in detail and in a structured manner, giving readers much-required clarity on the topic. The book is well organized, with an introduction, then the uses of AI today, three views about its future, its impact on the economy, the enormous changes that will happen in skill sets, both among leaders and managers, and among those they lead, how leaders need more human skills than they had in the past, and driving changes as innovators and motivators. The Future Of Leadership In The Age Of AI gives readers a broader view of AI's perspectives without any exaggeration. The book is an eye-opener and the comic strips at the beginning of the chapters lighten the topic that follows. It is a refreshing, interesting, knowledgeable and insightful book.

The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI: Preparing Your Leadership Skills for the AI-Shaped Future of Work is a timely business handbook by Marin Ivezic and Luka Ivezic. The world is transitioning to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and this comes with a new paradigm in our economy as it changes the way we conduct our business. This will, in turn, affect many of us that belong to the workforce. As business turns to Artificial Intelligence, where will that leave us? We cannot compete with robots when it comes to collecting and processing data, rules, and processes but they certainly don't have our creativity, vision, and are unable to collaborate.

Marin and Luka Ivezic's The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI: Preparing Your Leadership Skills for the AI-Shaped Future of Work is a must-read for all as it discusses something that everyone has to deal with. As we fear for our jobs in the age of Artificial Intelligence, the authors present a realistic approach to the issue. Informative, systematic and enlightening, the book presents a logical and interesting approach: to capitalize on our strengths as humans to thrive in the new order. The Future of Leadership in the Age of AI helps us position ourselves so that we develop skills that robots are unable to do. For young readers, this book should be required reading because they will be the ones that will have to live, not compete, with robots as we experience the far-reaching effects of the Fourth Revolution.
