What stands out for me is the scientific approach to his postulations on the effects of faith on the individual. He presents some thought-provoking theories that are worth more than just a cursory glance. I may not completely agree with his assertions on the relationship between sacrifice and faith but I must admit it is insightful. The Evidence Of Things Unseen is a one-of-a-kind book I would encourage everyone to read. The knowledge this book holds is priceless.

For me, the author’s honesty about the good and bad in his own life helped me more realistically assess and accept my own experiences. He freely admits to making some mistakes in his religious life, such as holding a prayer meeting using government resources and time. Because my journey of faith in some ways parallels the author’s, this book was particularly meaningful to me. But one doesn’t need to be in the same position to enjoy, learn from, and be inspired by this book. I recommend it to anyone.
