Kade has always wanted to study the Divine since he was a child and first experienced it at the hands of the stranger who came to visit. When he was given the opportunity to leave his family for the study of this magic, he did not think twice. But things are changing now. There is much about the Divine and about himself that Kade does not know. With the loss of someone dear and danger potentially lurking around every corner, Kade is thrown into more chaos than he could have imagined and it seems he just might be stuck setting off entirely alone. But nothing is ever as it seems and The Divine Apprentice by Allen J. Johnston is definitely no exception to that rule.

Kade and Darcienna are interesting characters that I felt were perfect for this plot line. They seemed to interact together very well and, of course, the mystical creatures included throughout the story were amazing. I’ve always had a thing for stories with dragons, and magic goes hand in hand with that. This story was full of adventure and you never knew what was going to happen when you turned to the next page. The Divine Apprentice by Allen J. Johnston will keep you on the edge of your seat as you flip through every page. There’s never a dull moment in this book of adventure, romance and, of course, plenty of magic and mystery. Any fantasy-lover will adore this book.
