We have all had that moment where we don’t feel that we have fulfilled anything, but it’s difficult to know when to pick up the baton and move on to something else. Has one door shut but another failed to open for you? Do you fail to recognize when an opportunity is staring you in the face? Even if you don’t know where the path ahead goes, you should have the courage to set one foot in front of the other and follow it, no matter where it takes you. What you seek is on the other side of the void, the door that hasn’t opened for you yet. Have faith and learn how to map your own destiny.
The Destiny Roadmap: The Little Guidebook to Face Your Fears, Embrace Change and Discover Your Calling by Kelli Reese is an enlightening book. Through personal examples, Kelli Reese takes us on a journey, one that teaches us that everything we feel is meant to be; there is a reason for it. This isn’t just a guide; it is a plan, one that walks us through what we need to do to get back on the path we should be on. This is one of the better self-help guides that I have read. I felt that Ms. Reese was talking to me personally, treating every reader as an individual and not as a bunch of faceless beings reading words on a page. It is very well written, it follows a natural path and is not, by any means, packed with fluff and filler. Every word means something, every sentence takes you in a specific direction, and every chapter gives a reader hope. I enjoyed this and I think that anyone who needs a little direction in their lives, anyone who needs reassurance that the trouble they have in attaining their goals is not unique to them will also find this useful.
