Michele E. Northwood’s The Circus Affair is just what you should be looking for if you are into a romance novel anchored in a gripping tale of love, lust, deceit, betrayal, vengeance, money, drugs, loyalty, and so much more. Michele forges a super intriguing plot featuring an exciting and wonderfully developed cast. The scenes were vividly depicted. It felt like I was right there next to every character, helplessly watching them make their every move. I loved how she made the scenes tremendously dramatic and laced them with incredible wit. This was especially augmented by a unique way of capturing and depicting the cast’s emotions. This also made it easy for me to connect and empathize with the cast. I could not help but laugh at the palpable animosity between the South American dancers and the four European dancers, among many other things. There is adventure, mystery, thrills, drama, and so much more in this magnificent piece of work. I loved The Circus Affair.
