The Blood Inheritance Novels Series Two-Book Set is a work of fiction in the epic fantasy, action, and adventure subgenres. As its title suggests, this work includes the novels Endow and Resist, completing the Blood Inheritance Quartet with the third and fourth tales from the series. Penned by author M. Ainihi, the work can be enjoyed by both teen and adult readers alike and also includes bonus stories and exclusive illustrations. Amanda is joined by Emily and Kiami as they journey through dangerous realms, exploring the ancient myths underpinning their quest and discovering that not everything is as it was once promised to be. These young heroes must race against the clock to prevent all-out devastation as the threat of the celestial looms ever darker.
Author M. Ainihi offers a real treat for fans of the Blood Inheritance series in this gorgeously crafted, in-depth special edition. One of my favorite things about reading fantasy is the idea that you’re stepping into a fully-formed world, and this collection does that in so many different ways. From the additional tales that flesh out lesser-known aspects and add to the worldbuilding and mythos to the gorgeous work by artist Tauseef Ahmed that literally brings the imagination onto the page, everything comes together to enhance Ainihi’s atmospheric and creative storytelling. I really liked Amanda and found her development throughout the two main novels to be emotionally engaging and realistic for her age and the challenges she’s facing. The dialogue was a standout point for me, too, delivering large chunks of plot exposition in subtle ways that never slowed the pace of the action but gave us a lot to move things forward. Overall, I would certainly recommend The Blood Inheritance Novels Series Two-Book Set for all fans looking to complete the series in the best way possible.
