The Bigger Bang Theory explores one of the most prejudiced, fantasized about, and enjoyable acts known to humans: sex. As a book aimed to provoke rather than prove, the book portrays fictional stories that incorporate historical facts and scientific research about sex. T.J. Sapp's book is divided into three sections: the past, the present, and the future. The section about the past goes as far back as 385 million years ago and portrays the discovery of sex, the first recorded exotic dancing, and the first recorded homosexual relationship. Following this is a look into sex in the modern age—which covers sex myths, a sex bucket list, and alternative sexual practices, like one-night stands and compensated dating. The last section centers on futuristic concepts like sex with robots and porn in VR.

The Bigger Bang Theory is many things: a sensational blend of short stories with several engaging characters from different times and various sexual fantasies and problems; a highly informative book rife with interesting and engaging research and references about sex and humanity; a stimulating experience with several naughty scenarios and helpful suggestions to improve sex. Every part of The Bigger Bang Theory is packed with so much value that I felt like I read a lot more books. That T.J. Sapp adds humor and engages the audience with a chatty tone makes the information and stories exciting and easy to read. In fact, I left everything I was doing to finish the book, and it was definitely worth it! I will be using the information I got from the book to make my sex life more enjoyable. If that is not a life-changing experience, I don't know what is.

The Bigger Bang Theory is a work of creative non-fiction in the satire subgenre and was penned by author T.J. Sapp. Written for mature adult reading audiences, this tongue-in-cheek work of erotica focuses on the subject of sex in a uniquely fictional way that blends narrative and fact. Told in three episodic sections, we follow the journey of sex, sexual discovery, and pleasure-seeking from the ancient past and the days of Caligula right through to imaginings of the sexual future of mankind with robots and new developments in modern relationships. Many myths and mysteries are debunked, and the work explores its sensitive subject matter in an open, pithy, and direct fashion.

Author T.J. Sapp has crafted a fascinating work on what sex means to a wide variety of people and how this most natural of acts has become such a hot topic and cause for concern, rebellion, revolution, and secrecy over the years. Personally, I found the Future section the most intriguing, with some very interesting points about the dystopian view of sex in relation to traditional gender roles and what that means moving forward. The mix of fact and fiction gives it a unique reading style that makes it simpler to engage with. Sapp also writes with a great sense of humor which I think will work well for people who may feel a little awkward or embarrassed by some of the topics presented. Whatever the case, any curiosity you have about the world of sex can surely be answered in The Bigger Bang Theory.

At the heart of T.J. Sapp’s The Bigger Bang Theory is the topic about an integral element in the survival of our species: sex. Don’t think that this book merely aims to titillate. This is a work of fiction with historical and scientific references. It is an exploration of themes divided into three parts. It begins with a step back into the prehistoric and early eras of reproduction. The second part tackles the theme of sex in the modern age and how it remains mysterious based on the inexhaustible spate of questions that we ask about relationships and sexuality. The third takes a futuristic look at the subject and how artificial intelligence would play a role in this basic biological need.

The Bigger Bang Theory is a fascinating and enjoyable story that is both sensuous and informative. In terms of the theme explored, it is very well done. T. J. Sapp knows his subject, and he fills the work with intriguing quotes and facts. Now that sex has become a mainstream topic, even if it still makes a few extreme conservatives uneasy, it is laudable to read authors like Sapp, who write about it with finesse and intelligence. I have read sex stories influenced by movies and books, but Sapp writes because of that spark of curiosity to further understand who and what we are. I highly recommend The Bigger Bang Theory to anyone who wants to know why we keep engaging in this three-letter word. Yes, because it feels good, and biology designed it that way to ensure the survival of our species. But Sapp will offer more takes on the matter.
