Many of us would like to have a coach and acquire the skills we need to improve our life. However, if a coach is not available for you, why not become your own coach? This is what David Novak and Jason Goldsmith invite you to do with their book Take Charge of You. The authors will show you how to become your own coach and achieve your goals by guiding you step by step. They will help you discover your Single Biggest Thing, what is holding you back, and what it would mean for you to achieve it. They will also teach you to change your nots into not-yets, the value of humility and continuous learning, and much more. Exercises, tips, and true stories will make you become the person you always wanted to be - and your most reliable coach.
Take Charge of You is a personal growth book that captivated me from the beginning. Although I have read many books on personal growth over the years, this one impressed me with its methodical and careful approach. David Novak and Jason Goldsmith clearly explain why the various elements are indispensable to the process (for example, a small detail like changing your nots into not-yets opens you up to change). Also, they ask the right questions to help you - and there are many of them! In this way, you can be sure that your guides will help you overcome your doubts and give you clarity. I recommend Take Charge of You to people who believe personal growth can change their lives, and I hope they will apply Novak and Goldsmith's advice to become their best personal coaches.
