Sweet Dreams Kailey Ruth by Macey Philips-Ross is a fun picture book for young children. Little Kailey Ruth has heaps of energy every night before bed, making it difficult for her mother to put her down for the night. One particular night, Kailey makes it her mission to defeat all germs surrounding her. She jumps into the bathtub to wash them off and then uses the shower head to spray them all away. No germ can survive whilst Kailey Ruth is around! When her mother walks upstairs with Kailey's favorite snacks, she sees the mess Kailey has made. How will her mother react and will Kailey finally get a good night's sleep? Join Kailey and her germ-killing spree to find out.
Sweet Dreams Kailey Ruth will have children and parents laughing their socks off. The book puts a light-hearted spin on how difficult it can be around a child's bedtime. I found the story to be hilarious and realistic, making the book that much more enjoyable for the reader. Macey Philips-Ross certainly knows how to capture a young reader's attention with her beautifully-written rhymes. The illustrations by the talented Moon Tales Studio are alluring, bright, and colorful - children are going to adore them! If you are looking for the perfect bedtime story, then look no further. This will be a book you and your child connect over and appreciate from different perspectives. I hope that the author continues to write more hilarious books like this, and I wish her all the best moving forward.
