With the news of the conviction of Clyde Doom being overturned by the court, Zane Clearwater and his sister Lettie are in danger. Lynn Lipinski reveals Clyde’s plan of destruction in Stalked by Revenge (Zane Clearwater Mystery Book 3). Clyde has been fantasizing about getting revenge on the people who put him behind bars due to their testimony. Zane is close to finishing police academy training, and Lettie will be a mother soon. Zane has the support of his police officer friends at the academy, but they are limited by legal boundaries. In comes Loris Trapper, a former cop, who has no problems getting into the gray areas outside of the law. Will Clyde get his brutal revenge, or will Zane and Lettie make sure he can never threaten them again?
Lynn Lipinski had me on the edge of my seat, anxious about what would happen to Zane and Lettie. I felt the pressure of the title, Stalked by Revenge, with how close Clyde was and the desperation one would feel to protect oneself and one's family. We got a peek into the minds of people fascinated with criminals, which terrified me. I enjoyed the references to the show Love on Lockdown. The author's references to things happening in the real world made this story more realistic. It made me reflect on the horror that occurs in society daily. The story flowed well, going easily from one character's point of view to the next.
