In her latest book, Speak Over the Fear, Dr. Stephanie L. Foster makes the theme clear; we each have one life to live and what we accomplish is shaped by our willingness to say “yes” to the possibilities of our dreams. She uses Bible passages, quotes from famous people and her own life experiences to encourage others to “speak over the fear.” She also uses graphs and charts to help the reader visualize what she is saying. Dr. Foster points out that failures are just temporary events and valuable if we learn from them. She makes it clear that the size of our dreams should be based on God’s ability, not ours. Her observations and suggestions are applicable to anyone’s life.
This inspirational Christian book, Speak Over the Fear by Dr. Stephanie L. Foster, encouraged me to make my dreams a reality. She says that when we are too fearful to try new things, we should “starve our fears and feed our faith.” Success does not usually come from one event. When necessary, we must be willing to work for hours, weeks and years to fulfill our dreams. She also points out that we must be willing to share our talents because God has created each of us with unique gifts that other people need. That is why it is important for us to share them. She uses Abraham Lincoln as an example. His courage made a huge difference for millions of people and even future generations. This is a well written, thought-provoking book. I enjoyed it and I will recommend it to others.
