Some of my favorite moments were the darker explorations; for example, the growing tension of ‘Delicate Situation’ was palpable, and the looming, garish word pictures painted by ‘Ascension’ really stuck in my mind. The vivid imagery and sensual style of the narration also add an exciting new layer to each verse, transporting readers into realms of myth and magic and igniting a sense of awe and reverence for the sacred feminine. As you immerse yourself in the pages, there is a confidence in the craft of the poems and a profound sense of connection to the ancient wisdom that is resonant throughout.
