Silly Little Sleepyhead by the Wilson Brothers is a charming and witty children's book. The story is about a little boy who falls asleep everywhere, and I do mean everywhere! The places that he falls asleep will make you and your children laugh out loud. Silly Little Sleepyhead just can't seem to stay awake, not in the pool, not at the ballgame and, somehow, he even finds a way to nap in the refrigerator. This will make the perfect bedtime storybook while getting your own little sleepyhead into bed. Children will enjoy not only the story, but the illustrations as well. This well written children's rhyming story book has fun characters and appealing visuals that relate well to what is going on in the story.
Wes and Ryan Wilson make an excellent team; they have good story telling abilities as well as artistic illustration skills. The story is delightful and creative, the artwork is adorable, and the author information at the end is priceless. This is a book that I think children will enjoy and want to read over and over again. It is also a book that children who cannot read yet will be able enjoy by themselves because the illustrations tell the story well even without the words. Little ones will enjoy sitting and looking at the pictures while waiting for someone to read to them. I would definitely buy this book for my children or grandchildren.
