Don and Cathy Rush (D.C. Rush) are co-authors and publishers of three children’s storybooks, Robby’s Quest for Seed, Robby’s Quest: Ocean Bound and Robby’s Quest: Return of the Cat, about a group of birds, life-long friends, who travel across America in search of adventure and new friends.
Cathy is a former Pharmacy Tech and homemaker and Don is a retired Manufacturing Manager and former member of the Cartwright School District Governing Board.

Robby, Ricky , Benny and their flock decide to fly out of Arizona to avoid the sweltering summer. Ruby the new bird in the flock suggests they migrate further to the West. She tempts them with the beautiful view of the ocean, the cool weather, the breeze and the paradise they would be living in. The story then moves on to how the flock of birds decide to form groups and fly out of Arizona to their dream destination. They finally decide that San Diego is the best place to be. They are awe-struck by the beauty of San Diego when they reach there. They fly over to Balboa Park to look for lodging. Once they settle there, the next agenda is to split and explore the place to find out what they can do in summer.
I found the book very endearing and delightful mainly because of the theme, simple narration and the illustrations. Children will be delighted with the story. The illustrations will catch their attention. I highly recommend this book.
