Rebecca’s Destiny (Redemption Book 2) by Gary Green is the sequel to a story about a young girl’s journey to fulfill her destiny. After realizing that Pan intended to kill her, she starts off training with Lancelot in preparation for the great battle. When her friend Heather became aware of her mystical friends, Pip, a gnome, provided reasonable answers for Heather. This lead to a relationship and shared training with Rebecca. When she met with the oracle, Rebecca understood her destiny and received the necessary wisdom. With the touch of his hand, Merlin, the wizard extraordinaire, gave Rebecca a physical sign that would unlock her mindset concerning her destiny. From that moment, she would never be the same, nor would those around her.
The story depicts a creative world of fantasy which readers will be drawn into from page one, even more so if you've read book one. You can tell the author took time crafting this magical world and its characters. I could visualize them as I read, and found myself smiling at some of their descriptive appearances. This style helps place readers into the story and allows them to walk with Rebecca as she attempts to fulfill her destiny. I recommend this story to anyone who loves books of fantasy. The story is very engaging and readers will find themselves immersed in Rebecca's destiny.
