Rangeela Tales Book 3 by Gita V. Reddy is a delightful collection of short stories that revolve around Navjyot, Nimi, Robber, and Rangeela. Navjyot rescues Rangeela, the parrot who has special skills. Instead of going back to his forest abode, Rangeela chooses to live with Navjyot. This book begins with the story of their grandfather going to Singapore for fifteen days. Aunt Vidhi comes to take care of Navjyot and Nimi. Aunt Vidhi is a headmistress, and she's a strict disciplinarian. As the story progresses, readers see Rangeela warning them about the gang that comes asking for water. The rest of stories in the book are also laced with fun and adventure and will connect with children very well.
I enjoyed all the stories. All the characters are adorable but Rangeela will stay in the hearts of readers even after they finish reading the book. All the stories are fun and filled with adventures. Another favorite character of mine is Robber, the cat who entertains readers just as much as Rangeela. The book is a good bedtime storybook and can also be used for interactive sessions in classrooms and school libraries. Stories like this show the bond between humans and animals beautifully, and teach young readers to love the creatures around them and take care of them if necessary. The last story in the book is about Rangeela being lost. Will Navjyot be able find him and bring him back home or will Rangeela go back to his forest abode forever?
