Gomez Porter agrees to become part of an experimental drug test. He has no idea what type of medicine he is taking. He is asked to keep a daily blog to assist the doctors in watching for odd behavior. Porter becomes a little concerned when he learns a fellow participator is now in a coma.
Porter blogs most aspects of his day. At times he seems almost paranoid. He can’t remember why he originally went into the trial study, but he knows he stays because he has a crush on Dr. Hargrove. Porter pulls practical jokes on poor Warren. He sells Hicks on Ebay.
Eventually, Dr. Hargrove confides in Porter, her fear that someone is stalking her. Porter volunteers to stalk her stalker making him a stalker-stalker.
The antics in this book will leave the reader laughing. This book is written in an original style, and it works. Each section is a blog entry. When I first opened the book and saw the style, I was a little put off, but that was before I started reading. Graham Parke is a genius. He successfully demonstrates paranoia. This is an ingenious book that readers will love.
