The clock strikes midnight, and Ninja Nighttime has a mission to do. With everyone asleep, the house is dark and quiet, so Ninja creeps throughout the house in search of his treasure but before he finds it, Ninja runs into a big surprise, one he is not expecting. What do you think happens? Will Nighttime Ninja complete his mission and find the treasure he is searching for?
This book is truly meant for boys. Because of the story and the pictures of the colors of the cover and the inside of the book, I think boys K thru 3 will love to have a copy of “Nighttime Ninja.” The story is full of suspense and mystery because Ninja is being so sneaky. The illustrations are so essential to the story that the book wouldn’t be a hit without them. The front and back covers in black/green/brown have the camouflage look and that makes the covers look spooky. The same colors continue throughout the pages of the book along with oranges and purples, which give this book a feeling of Halloween too. In their new book “Nighttime Ninja,” Author and Illustrator Barbara Dalosta and Ed Young together have created a piece of art for children. The overall look is fantastic and both the cover and the inside pages are made of high quality paper making this book a nice gift for that young boy in your life. I highly recommend this neat Ninja book for your child’s library. It is sure to be a favorite in your house.
