Niching Up: The Narrower the Market, the Bigger the Prize by Chris Dreyer addresses the marketing world. The advice in his book is like the business equivalent of the ten commandments. Dreyer's style of writing is concise as he sums it up perfectly: "It was my goal, in writing this book, to change the narrative on niching from being about scarcity to having an abundance mindset. Niching is not restrictive; it provides opportunity." Although being direct it's also like a loud conversational whisper because as you're reading it, you get the feeling that you're being let in on the secrets of success that flow when you create a niche in your market. Dreyer's book brings empowerment that readers didn't know they were lacking. For those of you who might feel that learning about a new topic is something that your brain won't be able to handle, fear not. There wasn't one word that could not be readily understood.
Chris Dreyer’s Niching Up is the holy grail of niche marketing. He also gives insights from other publications concerning the business world and this book would be a perfect addition to anyone's library from a private individual to an experienced businessperson. The wealth of information you’ll find is wonderful on its own, but he also provides extra means of learning through his podcasts and an avenue to connect socially. If ever there was a book that deserves to be in the hands of a college marketing class or perhaps even pre-law, to help give the future attorneys of America a guide, this is it.
