Minecat Book 2: A Feline Minecraft Adventure: Sugar Cane Rush (Volume 2) by PT Evans is an exciting adventure story for young readers where they get to see Spike the cat being attacked by all types of things; skeletons, Endermen, and Zombies. When no one is at home, Spike does everything to get back into Minecraft and, since Jason is going to be away this weekend, Spike is busy spending all his time scheming. When Jason comes back and switches on his computer, the key to Spike's new world returns and he lands in Minecraft after being pulled into the computer. What are the adventures the readers get to see this time with Spike? Will Spike be able to survive there or will he need help?
The book is exciting and filled with adventures that will keep children glued till the last page. The adventures are unique and entertaining, and the illustrations add to the charm of the story, the scenes, and all the characters. Children love adventures and this book is filled with them. It's a good bedtime storybook and parents and grandparents will love reading the adventures of Spike to their kids and grandkids. It is also good for read aloud sessions in classrooms and school libraries. This series is excellent and children will never get tired of reading about Spike and his Minecraft adventures.
