Milton’s Suitcase Adventure is a children’s picture book written by Diane Distefano with illustrations by Manny Pantoja. It follows Milton, an adorable dog who has a knack for sleeping in the most unlikely places. No matter how cramped, noisy, or uncomfortable the spot, Milton always manages to snooze peacefully. One day, he discovers a perfect sleeping spot inside a suitcase, not realizing that it belongs to Aunt Kay, who is heading to Paris. When he wakes up, he finds himself miles away from home, and he starts to worry that he may never see his family again. However, Aunt Kay introduces him to the wonders of France, and Milton discovers that there are plenty of exciting adventures to be had.
Milton's Suitcase Adventure is a delightful story that takes children on a whimsical journey through France. Milton is charming and lovable, and through his adventurous spirit, young readers will learn about embracing life to the fullest and trying new things. This story celebrates the values of curiosity, resilience, and personal growth, inspiring children to step out of their comfort zone and explore the world with enthusiasm. I really enjoyed how Diane Distefano used a rhyming tone to narrate the story because this gave it a unique flow and musical quality. The colorful illustrations also brought the narrative to life in a visually engaging way. I had a great time reading this book, and highly recommend it to anyone who loves adventure stories with a touch of humor. Overall, this is great work.
