R. Stephen Lynch has observed romantic relationships and seen how some materialize but others fail. He analyzes why this happens. Having experienced an emotional breakup, he searched for the answers to his questions. He found facts about why these things happen and shares his information in Love: From the Jungle to the Divine. First, he tells us how we have been indoctrinated to feel incomplete until we find a partner. Then he logically explains why not all relationships can work. Most importantly, a breakup doesn't mean something is wrong with you. Lynch mentions this in detail, delves into the idea, and provides tips to learn how to cope with your emotions when it comes to love.

I was pleased with how R. Stephen Lynch methodically addresses the topics. He writes coherently and details information step by step, starting from the basics. For example, he explains the importance of social skills and describes the types of love and the subjective conceptions we often create. He also talks about self-love and how to keep it afloat. He even discusses divine love. He shares his experiences and is empathetic. And at the end, he adds a series of helpful suggestions to propose that things are not always as they seem. Love: From the Jungle to the Divine is an easy-to-read book to help us understand love.
