Little Lucy Adventures: Mazzy & The Galapagos Islands by Deidra D Meyer-Hager is an adventure book for young readers. The main characters, Little Lucy and Mazzy, go on an adventure to the Galapagos Islands to see all of the wonderful tortoises that live there. Lucy and Mazzy hop into Lucy's spaceship and zoom off into the night sky. They arrive at the islands and immediately see the cutest tortoises! Mazzy can't contain her excitement and jumps onto one of them. The tortoise doesn't seem happy at first, but after being fed a delicious prickly pear, a smile appears on his face. He takes Mazzy by surprise and introduces himself as Gappy. Who knew tortoises could talk? Pick up a copy of Little Lucy Adventures and join them on the rest of their journey.
Little Lucy Adventures: Mazzy & The Galapagos Islands is an extremely enjoyable book that children will love. It has everything a child could ever imagine: an island, a rocketship, and even tortoises that let you ride on their backs! This book is so much fun to read, and I had a smile on my face the entire way through. This is just one adventure best friends Mazzy and Little Lucy go on, and my imagination is running wild with all of the other adventures they could go on together. Author Deidra D Meyer-Hager has produced a perfect storyline and created happy and bubbly characters along with it. Any child reading Little Lucy Adventures will have a great time and will be inspired to go on their own little adventures. I am excited to see where Mazzy and Lucy end up next! Great work!
