Life Skills Learning With Rainbow Kids by Rainbow Village is an eclectic collection of fictional and non-fictional prose, games, and other engaging content aimed at children. The book contains several short stories, including two adaptations of works by Leo Tolstoy and Antoine Saint-Exupery, articles about important topics such as recycling and emotions, jokes, riddles, facts, diverse activities, self-care tips, quizzes, and a recipe. Through simple language and colorful pages, the book focuses on universal themes like honesty, gratitude, kindness, and more, delivering valuable messages suitable for children around the world.
Rainbow Village’s Life Skills Learning With Rainbow Kids is an immensely enjoyable book. I love how it emphasizes doing what one is passionate about while trying to bring happiness to others at the same time. I also like how it focuses on how to deal with negative emotions rather than dismissing them altogether. The story and activity on gratitude deserve a special mention, as I believe they can teach young readers to appreciate the little things in life and find joy in gloomy days. The stories and articles feature complex plots and topics in a simple manner, making them suitable for the target audience. The games and activities are also enjoyable, and they are something children and their caregivers can bond over. One of the best things about the book is the diversity of its contents; all young readers are likely to find something in it to their taste. I would recommend the book to children aged six to eight.
