A few weeks before her twenty-second birthday, Belle was walking up to her cottage when she was stopped by a red-haired woman. This woman said to her, “Beware of the blue-eyed man...” Next, she got a call from her dad; he’d been trapped in an estate and accused of stealing a diamond. Fiercely protective of her family, she set out to save him, unaware that her life was about to change. Belle came face to face with the seven-foot-tall and intimidating owner of the estate, Leo Blackwood. There was something different about him, but he shared a pair of striking blue eyes with her father. So, which of the blue-eyed men is Belle’s nemesis or protector? Find out in Knocked Up by the Beast, a romantic mafia story by Aria R. Blue!
When I finished reading Knocked Up by the Beast by Aria R. Blue, I dubbed it “Warrior Love.” Aria created a neat fusion of romance and crime. It also embodied elements like suspense, intrigue, bravery, humor, obsession, desperation, deception, and adventure. Merging passion and crime often sounds exaggerated, dramatic, or forced, but in this book, I felt every bit because Aria built the characters to show emotion rather than tell it. Many times, I wanted to take Belle’s place in the story. The writing style was active, and the plot was fast-paced, unique, unpredictable, and had depth, keeping me on the edge of my seat. I loved that the protagonists were flawed, making them relatable. Lovers of crime and passion-based novels will love this book. Aria has created something beautiful with this story, and I can’t wait to read other installments!
