Johnson Road Saga Two Book Bundle by Clayton E. Spriggs is a murder mystery. In Book 1, we meet Purvis Johnson. He sold his land to a developer and watched as what was once a dirt lane becomes a newly paved street. Houses are appearing all over and families are settling into their new houses and new lives. Mary and Jake Bickman and their sons are the first new family on the street, followed soon after by the Jenkins family and the Petersons. What should be an idyllic street is soon about to be turned upside down as evil strikes at the heart of the community. No family will be safe from the nightmare that may never end. In Book 2, the story of Johnson Road is told again, this time from the point of view of the killer. The police and the FBI are about to learn just how clever this evil murderer is. They think they can catch him quickly, but how wrong they are.
Johnson Road Saga: Two Book Bundle by Clayton E Spriggs is one of the best murder mystery stories I have read for some time. I liked the way the story was retold in Book 2 from a different point of view, and I found that it filled in lots of gaps from the first book. The two books perfectly complement one another, a whole story told in two sittings. This was a very clever plot, with plenty of detail – if you don’t read Book one, you can pick up the trail in Book two, but you really should read both to get the whole picture. The character development was brilliant in both books, and having the second book written from a different point of view gives you a different perspective on the characters. Very cleverly written and highly recommended for anyone who loves a good crime thriller.
