This is number three in the Big Sky Dreams series. I like this series and eagerly await book four. Jessie teaches us about our faith and about people that are not sure about theirs. When bad things happen in our lives, God is always there with us and ready to have good come out of it. God does not make the bad things happen, but he is always with us to help us through it. Sometimes we have to look beyond what is happening now and look towards the future.

The setting is Token Creek in1884. Jessie Wheeler is working in her mercantile when a stranger walks in looking for a job. She takes a chance on Seth and discovers he is a good worker he is. Eventually, they fall in love, get married, and have a little girl.

Theirs was not a happy-ever-after marriage. Problems seemed to multiply and Seth leaves. He is gone for eight years before he comes back. He has a lot of explaining to do. He didn’t know he had another daughter. He wants to be part of their life. He has changed a lot in the last eight years. He has found faith in God. He wants to share that faith with Jessie.

I am a huge Lori Wick fan, so pretty much if she writes it, I love it! She admits herself that this book kind of trickled for her and was rather difficult to write. I think in a way you can see that toward the end. I found myself a little frustrated with the main character's stubbornness and felt like the plot moved somewhat slower. However, I loved that she brought in a character from a previous series, and redeemed him so completely! I confess that I liked Seth Redding in the Yellow Rose trilogy, but I wished then that he'd come to Christ. So to have him appear in Jessie as that man made the book for me. A definite must-read for Lori Wick fans!

A moving story about a broken marriage, broken dreams, hurting people, and bad choices. God works giving second chances and healing broken relationships as only God can do.

Really loved this book. Lots of fun to read & very clean. There is a message of hope in the pages & the lives of those in this book. I liked it so much I ordered books 1&2 in this series & love them also.

I really enjoyed this book. Probably not as much as the first two in this series, but a fun read nonetheless. However, the ending fell flat and felt very anti-climactic. Just be prepared for that slight let-down. The Yellow Rose Trilogy is still probably my favorite Lori Wick set so far.

this is a conclusion to a on going saga and it is very good book and has a very interesting ending
