Intuitive Animal Connections is a non-fiction animal memoir written by Jadi Kindred. Kindred knew as a child that her life work would be as an Animal Communicator, even if her eighth-grade teacher tried to get her to accept that such a career didn't exist. Still, she dearly loved the dogs she grew up with, planned for her future, and, when she left her parents' home, began fostering shelter dogs who were scheduled for euthanasia. This book shows how she first found her niche as a dog sitter and then started working with the rescue societies to save the dogs she fostered. Kindred describes her experiences with eight of the dogs she's fostered, including her first impressions, lessons learned, and her efforts to make sure the prospective forever parents she worked with were the perfect matches for each of her foster dogs.

What a marvelous book this is! Jadi Kindred's non-fiction animal rescue memoir, Intuitive Animal Connections, is a joy to read, even if I did sometimes finding myself getting almost as emotionally involved as the author did when she writes of letting a beloved foster go off with his new family. Her writing style is easy and conversational, and I quickly felt at ease with her narrative and immersed in the stories of those unforgettable pups. Kindred's book gives prospective foster families the best of all possible reasons to get involved and she discusses just about everything they need to consider when starting out. She also includes a wealth of links and references for works in the field of Animal Communication that I found quite helpful for further research. I'm looking forward to reading about more of Kindred's experiences as an Animal Communicator and foster caretaker in her future works. Intuitive Animal Connections is most highly recommended.

In a lovely story relaying the heart warming tale of one woman's experiences before, during, and after rescuing abandoned dogs from a fate of euthanasia, Intuitive Animal Connections: Spiritual Connections with Abandoned Dogs and the Lessons I Learned While Fostering Them by debut author Jadi Kindred will lead readers down the very interesting path taken by the author. Exploring her relationship with animals in desperate situations, the things she learned from them, and the things she is able to impart to others regarding those eye opening revelations about the animals in her care, this book could serve as an invaluable guide to any lover of animals, especially dogs, or anyone working in animal welfare or animal rescue of any kind.

I very much enjoyed Intuitive Animal Connections. Author Jadi Kindred has done a wonderful job in providing her readers with true life examples of touching animal rescues as well as examples of the emotions felt by scared animals that seem to be aware that they were once close to death. Thought provoking to say the least, this book will lead many to rethink their relationships with their beloved pets, and rethink the entire animal welfare system as it exists today. Any reader who has an interest in animal communication, animal rescue, or fostering abandoned animals should absolutely give this book a read. I am pleased to recommend Intuitive Animal Connections. I certainly hope that the promising new author, Jadi Kindred, will continue her writing efforts, and absolutely hope that she continues her important work in rescuing animals long into the future!
