Aimee Cabo Nikolov is an encourager who enjoys uplifting others. This enjoyment shines through in her poetry book, Inspired by the Holy Ghost. Aimee has a radio/podcast in which she shares uplifting words and music, and she has written many poems taken from the Holy Ghost’s inspiration given while listening to this music. These poems are based on both Christian and non-Christian songs. Aimee decided to share her poetry from her podcasts in the form of a book. On every other page, there are beautiful pictures with Scriptures on them. Reading this book will uplift you and leave you praising the Lord. The book points out that the same song can produce different thoughts and give more than one poem, depending on the current need. As you read this book, you may think that the music that inspired her gives you a different inspiration, and that’s fine. Allow God to speak to you and your needs through song.
In Inspired by the Holy Ghost, Aimee Cabo Nikolov writes as the Holy Ghost inspires her as she is listening to music and her verses are encouraging and motivating. She writes in a style that draws the reader in and encourages them to do better. The illustrations included in the book are wonderful. They punctuate the poems in such a way as to enforce the deeper meaning behind the words. Aimee’s style is easy to understand and is written in a direct format. While the verses do take some thinking about, when the meaning comes shining through it's well worth it. Aimee has given us a delightful volume of inspiring poems.
