In the Heart of Autumn: A River Haven Novel is a romance with Christian undertones. Author Noelle Bensen has written a romance that will spark the fire of people who have given up on love after troubled romantic experiences. In the Heart of Autumn is a beautiful, clean romance story with a few surprises that shake the newly formed couple. The points of view sometimes shifted abruptly, but I was able to follow the thoughts of the characters easily. I recommend Noelle Bensen’s book to young adults and mature readers who enjoy romances that inspire loving connections.
