I Am Pumpkin by Lily follows the story of an adorable little bunny named Pumpkin. Pumpkin is Grandma's darling little girl. A Netherland Dwarf bunny, Pumpkin eagerly waits for Saturdays when Mom takes her to Grandma's, where she can do whatever she wants. Grandma has all her favorite toys out on a soft pink blanket, and she doesn't mind Pumpkin's zoomies or the mischief she gets up to. Pumpkin has already made holes in Grandam's Persian rug, chewed computer cords, curtains, the remote, and more. Grandma still loves to spoil her and has breakfast with Pumpkin while both watch cartoons. However, Pumpkin doesn't like the trips to Dr. Kerry's, where she has her teeth filed every three months. And now, it's time to go back home with Mom!
I Am Pumpkin is a short and sweet story about a bunny and her wild adventures. Using an engaging writing style and colorful illustrations, Lily gifts readers with an entertaining tale narrated from the perspective of a playful little bunny. Layered with a healthy dose of humor and drama, the narrative breezes past without a single hitch and makes the book an absolute blast to read. There is a feeling of wholesomeness to Pumpkin that makes you want to know more about her and her adventures. It doesn't hurt that she is just so adorable, as the pictures featured in this book show. The playful nature of bunnies will brighten anyone's day, and this book is bound to be a hit among children and young adults alike. I am glad I read Pumpkin's story and highly recommend it.
