Facing pirates, Ahkal-Tiki, and savvy business Krugeri, they navigate the perilous galactic currents in pursuit of the Lost Weapons of Koroth, all while dodging danger and hilarious mishaps.
Author team Nick Steverson and Melissa Olthoff have crafted an absolute blast from start to finish that pays tribute to classic science fiction but breathes a lot of new life into the genre. The characters' escapades kept me laughing out loud, while the fast-paced plot kept me hooked from chapter to chapter with a great balance of character-led moments and action-packed scenes. Reggie and his crew's transformation from office workers to intrepid adventurers was both entertaining and inspiring, making a very relatable point about the universal desire for adventure and freedom from the daily grind. The authors expertly blend humor, action, and heart into a tale brimming with witty dialogue, sharp characters, and bold descriptive lexis.
