Author Biography

Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, William Allan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University's School of Journalism.
He moved west and started a career with newspapers that lasted nearly 30 years. Most of that time was spent at The Leader-Post, the daily newspaper in Regina, Saskatchewan.
He retired in 2008 and lives with his spouse Abby Ulmer and their cat Tigger in Regina.
William wrote and self published two books in 2016: Four Murders in a Small Town, a fictional short crime story, and How to Self Publish Inexpensive Books and Ebook, which he wrote after learning about the publishing industry and marketing his first book, in addition to a lot of research..
William self published two books in 2018: Justice Preserved, which offers readers 12 fictional crime stories in one book, and How to Self Publish Inexpensive Books and Ebooks: U.S. Edition, to assist U.S. authors in publishing and marketing their books.
