Children are different and it is important for parents to first recognize what type of learner they have at home. The book gives parents tools on how and where to educate their children so that they flourish as the unique wonders they are. Why doesn’t school work for every child? The author helps to tackle those questions in a positive, life-affirming, and life-changing way. The book also helps parents to get to the bottom of their child’s feelings towards going to school and comes up with solutions that help to recapture their natural born curiosity and love for learning.
The topic is relevant and the author’s tips and techniques are useful to figure out how the big system of school works and how change can be created to make it interesting. What I like most about the book is that it includes lots of strategies to clarify a child’s likes and dislikes related to learning and school, and parents can choose and decide upon what best suits their child. The educational options shared in the book are encouraging and these will help to rebuild a child’s love of learning. The author handles the topic extensively, helping parents to make a change for the betterment of their children. It is a good book to assist parents in understanding their child better, recognizing their passions, and directing their steps forward in life.
