As part of their cover, they’re drawn into the dangerous society of the Grey Elite where they stumble deeper into a conspiracy with spies and assassins, bringing them closer to catching a thief. The further they fall into this world, the more the sparks start to fly between them and the more dangerous it becomes.
BB Morgan has a delightful voice and delivers a fun world that blends steampunk and fantasy in this dazzling and adventurous tale. Morgan weaves a lively turn of events when Raven’s wish for adventure comes true in the most unexpected way which brings her into a world of danger, conspiracy, and excitement. The relationship between Raven and Zander gives a lovely touch of romance to the story as the two share a spark and a fun dynamic as they pretend to be a couple. They share several humorous moments between them as they go along with this ruse. The moments between them lead to a blooming connection that delivers friendship, respect, humor, and flirty moments. The steampunk world is exciting with Morgan placing a delightful twist on the genre through a fresh perspective on a world with conspiracy, magic, airships, and automatons. Morgan takes you into this intriguing and captivating world while Hard as Stone brings steampunk and fantasy to life in a tale of adventure that’s funny, action-packed, and surprising.
